After have produced Barolo with grapes that come from vineyards in La Morra, today we add the grapes from a vineyard in Monforte, to add the hot power of La Morra to the freshness and the austere tannins of Monforte. The Barolo Francone is offered as an exclusive selection of 3000 bottles.
Ruby red in colour with orange-red reflections due to the aging. Complex and intense aroma with fruity and spicy tones which are reminiscent of cloves; notes of licorice, leather and dog rose come out with aging. Embracing and full palate with noticeable but fine tannins.
