CHARACTERISTICS: The southern exposure and the sandy soil, typical of the Roero area, enhance to the maximum the potential of this vine variety. The wine obtained is a very intense garnet red, with very visible ruby shades. The aroma is enveloping and complex. It gives its best after an accurate oxygenation in the decanter. Its intense structure allows a long aging.
FERMENTATION: Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in stainless steel for 7/10 days. The malolactic fermentation occurs naturally, in stainless steel, with the temperature increase during the summer months.
REFINEMENT: In french oak tonneaux (500 litres) for about 18/20 months.
