Falanghina is an ancient Italian white-wine grape, reportedly of Greek origin. It is also said that Falanghina is the grape variety behind Falernian, the most famous wine of Roman antiquity. Primarily cultivated in Campania.
Grapes from the Pozzillo vineyard in the municipality of Sant'Agata dei Goti, selected and harvested by hand. Fermentation preceded by light cold skin maceration. Aging sur lies for about 10 months and in bottle for at least 3 months.
Lively golden yellow color, consistent and crystalline. Very fine, elegant and complex bouquet, excellent intensity and
persistence; enveloping aromas of yellow- fleshed fruits, floral broom and hawthorn, with elegant vanilla and honey notes, light and pleasant mineral nuances. On the palate is warm, soft and velvety, good freshness measured and balanced with the overall structure, full and fine body, intense and persistent.
