GROWING LOCATION: Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena).
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VINEYARDS: Hillside vineyard facing south (280 meters above sea level) in the Chianti Classico territory.
WINE-MAKING PROCESS: Traditional, with fermentation in stainless steel vats at a strictly controlled temperature (max 28/30° C), ending with a lengthy maceration on the skins (18/20 days).
AGEING: 16/18 months in small French oak barrels, 6 months in bottles.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14% vol.
